DESCRIPTION:This Connect Group exists to build a community where Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals can genuinely connect in a space designed for full accessibility. \nWe create meaningful Deaf–Hearing fellowship through time together\, shared Bible study\, and appropriate outreach. \nA major part of what we do is offer ongoing interpretation training and mentorship for developing interpreters\, focusing on complex church concepts like music\, imagery\, and storytelling. We also organize church-wide events to educate the hearing congregation about Deaf-specific needs and strengthen the connection between both communities. \nTarget Audience: Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Individuals\, ASL Interpreters (Certified and Trainees)\, and all individuals who want to sign or have connections to the Deaf Community \nJoin this group!
