A “crisis” is an opportunity to find the glory of God and reflect it in the world. There was a national crisis in Israel due to their transgressions because of an idolatrous lifestyle brought on by the hands of King Ahab and his wife, Jezebel. Elijah called the people to repentance and told them the Lord would not give them rain for three years. During the economic crisis, a widow woman lost hope, but the Lord never lost hope and had an unpredictable plan.

Like Israel, we have a national crisis. Through this timeless passage, Bishop Hargrove equips us with tools to overcome any crisis because of our trust in the One who brings hope to endure.
