Humanity has long-searched and yearned for a perfect world—to have everything. Perhaps this longing comes from our origins in the Garden of Eden. Having everything can bring about selfishness. The author of Ecclesiastes, King Solomon, one of the richest men of his time, would have had assets amounting to 2 trillion dollars by today’s standards. Solomon had everything and yet he concluded it was for naught. The reality is: There is no paradise on this planet. Heaven is real and is the only paradise there is.

We cannot heal poverty, but we can bring the gospel to an impoverished world so that the world might see heaven and to combat selfishness. Bishop Hargrove gives us a sure way to defeat selfishness and to be bold in spreading the gospel as the worldwide revival approaches.
