Jesus still lives — and we have every reason to celebrate what He has done! Our testimonies shout of His grace and mercy; many of us would not be here if not for His hand on our lives. Through Christ, we are made complete. Death has no power over us, for God is redeeming, healing, delivering, and restoring His people — body, mind, and spirit. The Lord who worked miracles then is still working them now! Bishop D.G. Hargrove celebrates Resurrection Sunday with powerful testimonies of grace, declaring that the God who worked miracles then still moves with the same power today — and will remain faithful for all eternity.

There are moments in life where words fall short—except for one declaration:

“Look what the Lord has done!”

Not what I did.
Not what people did.
Not what circumstances allowed.

But look at what God has done.

In this powerful message, Bishop D. G. Hargrove reminds us that the gospel is not just a historical event—it is a completed work that continues to shape our past, our present, and our future.

At North Cities Church in Garland, TX, we believe this truth is alive today across Murphy, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, and Wylie—and throughout Dallas County, Collin County, and Rockwall County.

The Gospel Is a Completed Work

When you understand the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, everything changes.

The cross was not just an event.
It was an operation of completion.

Jesus did not come to start something unfinished.
He came to finish what humanity could never complete on its own.

It Is Finished—But It’s Not Over

When Jesus said, “It is finished,” it sounded like the end.

But it was actually the beginning of victory.

The work of redemption was complete.
The price was paid.
The door was opened.

And now, everything that flows into our lives comes from that finished work.

That is why we can boldly declare:
Look what the Lord has done.

We Have Been Made Complete in Christ

Through the death, burial, and resurrection, we were not just improved—we were made complete.

We are not lacking.
We are not spiritually half-built.
We are not unfinished projects.

We have been made complete in Him.

A Transfer Has Taken Place

This is more than forgiveness.
This is transformation through transfer.

We have been moved out of one kingdom and into another.

Everything that once had authority over you—broken.
Everything that once had dominion over you—canceled.
Everything that tried to define you—overridden.

You didn’t just get saved.
You got transferred into a Kingdom designed for the redeemed.

That is why your identity, your authority, and your future are different now.

God Has Always Been Showing Redemption

Redemption did not begin at Calvary—it was revealed there.

From the very beginning, God has been showing us what He was going to do.

After the fall in the Garden, He covered Adam and Eve.
That was redemption in seed form.

A Pattern of Deliverance

God continued revealing redemption through history:

  • Through Moses, the deliverer
  • Through the cloud and the sea
  • Through supernatural provision in the wilderness
  • Through water flowing from the rock

And Scripture makes it clear:

That rock was Christ.

Jesus did not just appear in the New Testament.
He has been working redemption all along.

Every miracle…
Every rescue…
Every deliverance…

Was pointing forward to one reality:

Look what the Lord is about to do.

Jesus Fulfilled the Mission

When Jesus came, He did not come merely to teach or inspire.

He came on assignment.

He was Emmanuel—God with us.

We saw Him heal the sick.
Raise the dead.
Deliver the bound.
Teach with authority.

But His mission was never just miracles.

The Cross Was Always the Goal

In Matthew 16, Peter received revelation—but rejected the cross.

And Jesus rebuked him.

Because you cannot embrace the Christ and reject His mission.

Jesus stayed on assignment.

He was arrested.
Beaten.
Ridiculed.
Crucified.

And when He declared, “It is finished,” He completed the mission of redemption.

The Resurrection Declares Victory

They placed Him in a tomb.
Sealed it.
Guarded it.

But you cannot guard what God has already ordained.

When the angel appeared:

  • The guards fell like dead men
  • And the dead man got up

That is the power of the resurrection.

Death Has Been Defeated

The resurrection declares:

Death has been defeated.
Hell has been conquered.
The grave has lost its grip.

So when we say, “Look what the Lord has done,”
we are not just talking about blessings.

We are talking about victory over death itself.

Living in Present Victory

Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:

“Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory…”

Not will give.
Not might give.
Giveth—present tense.

Victory is not something we are waiting on.
It is something we are walking in.

Three Dimensions of Victory

As believers, we live in three realities:

  • We look back at what God has done
  • We stand in what God is doing
  • We move forward into what God is going to do

This is not wishful thinking.
This is Kingdom reality.

The same resurrection power that raised Jesus is at work today.

And one day—it will raise us.

What This Means for Us Today

In Garland, TX and across Murphy, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, and Wylie, there are people who need to know this truth:

Victory is not coming.
Victory is already here.

At North Cities Church, we are not building on hype—we are building on the finished work of Jesus Christ.

We are standing in:

  • Completed redemption
  • Present authority
  • Future resurrection

Across Dallas County, Collin County, and Rockwall County, God is still saving, still delivering, and still raising people into new life.

Look What the Lord Has Done

When you stop and reflect on your life:

Where you were…
What you’ve been through…
What should have taken you out…
What tried to destroy you…

And you’re still standing—

There is only one response:

Look what the Lord has done.

He completed you.
He redeemed you.
He delivered you.
He raised you up.

And because He got up…

You’ve got victory.
