Carrier of a Calling

Samuel had a powerful ministry. He was the answered prayer of a praying mom, Hannah. His ministry emerged on the heels of the failed ministries of Eli and his two sons Hophni and Phinehas. Samuel was not placed in the perfect environment. His environment was contradictory to his calling. He was in the midst of adversity, temptation, greed, power and discontent. However, God called Samuel to become an effective agent of change. It was an uncomfortable calling yet he endured and managed it well because of his faith and close relationship with God.

Bishop Hargrove shows us faith-building techniques to help us endure and to become effective carriers of our callings.
